Written for the Covington Middle School Theatre program, ¡Adelante! explores the struggles of creating art in an uncertain time. The circumstances that surround us can make us believe that art is non-essential, not needed, or frivolously unimportant in the face of life-or-death struggles.
The truth is art is the exploration into our full being: scars and surprises, victories and pitfalls, and in doing so, art allows us to rise from the ashes of our fears, death, sorrow, and what once was and push us onward to bettering ourselves, our friends, our (chosen) families, and our world.

We're all in this together.
We must keep creating!
The show must go on!
